I have moved to a new Tumblr. This is a fresh start for me, and it feels good. But I will still keep this Being Intrepid blog, since it’s been a repository of things good and bad, old and new. :-)

1. In two words how would you describe your best friend?
Best friend. Two words? My sun, my moon.
2. A song that best describe your relationship with your friends.
It changes. Sometimes, it’s Switchfoot’s This is Home, sometimes it could be The Hush Sound’s That’s Okay. Or The Cars’ You Might Think.
3. If there is one thing in your possession that you would have to give up, what would it be and why?
A few of my books. I like the idea of giving away stories you’ve lived already to those who haven’t yet.
4. One experience where you feel like you were infinite?
We had a road trip during midnight to Antipolo. The infinite part came when we saw the view of the lights of Metro Manila.
5. If death would come today what would you tell him to convince him not take your life?
I’m not done yet.

Pinwheels
Just after passing the entrance to Baloy Beach, one would see numerous colorful pinwheels on the two sides of the road. As I recalled how fast they were going when we drove through, it hit me. Inspiration, I mean.
Two characters came into my head: an old man and a tourist. Their dialogues came pouring into my mind. I had a notebook in my bag, but I didn’t write it down; everything was clear in my head, anyway.
At first, I wanted to make it a short animated film that I’d work on this Christmas break, but then, I considered to make it as a comic too. Though the idea of me working on a short animated project brings me chills.
Let’s see where this is going. My friend Yvez with his Pitong Puting Tupa just inspires me to do what I love to do too.
For now, I’ll sleep. Maybe I can get something from my dreams too.

I saw my grades earlier. I teared up a little, looked up and mouthed a ‘thanks.’
This has been the most hectic term I had. I did what I had to do what with 15 units on my plate. My friends and I endured all the things we had to go through, may they be good or bad. Thankfully, all of my efforts paid off. I learned a lot, definitely, about my courses and about myself too.
The photo above was a graphic I used for our Capstone 3, the last course for our thesis. Ate Elaine and Kuya Ru helped us out in our thesis; they modeled for us, so we could have models for our designs for our clients.
There’s also Sir JX who is, of course, the best professor I ever had. I wish him a Merry Christmas.
I’ll have dinner now. I’m just really happy. Especially for my batch mates too who are graduating soon on February! :-)
